Edinburgh Weather Warning

Hold on to your hats everybody. Gusts of up to 102 MPH have been recorded in Edinburgh at Blackford Hill. I have personally witnessed huge pieces of felt roofing material being ripped off of tenement buildings in Springvalley Terrace in Morningside and sandstone structure on the pavements of Leith Walk, so please be careful.
My route through to Morningside Road was blocked by a huge tree spanning the road this morning. You can see the snapshot I have taken.
Although the wind is starting to subside now and the forecast predicts a gradual improvement the clean up job is going to be quite substantial.Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you require the services of recommended trades-persons.
I am going to need a bit of assistance myself having lost two trees to these gales.
